About Net Run Rate
Net Run Rate (NRR) is a statistical method used in cricket to rank teams in limited-overs tournaments. It represents the average runs per over that a team scores, minus the average runs per over scored against them.
Example: If Team A scores 250 runs in 50 overs and concedes 200 runs in 50 overs, their NRR would be (250/50) - (200/50) = 5.0 - 4.0 = +1.0
This calculator provides accurate NRR calculations for cricket matches and tournaments. It's particularly useful for tournament organizers, analysts, and cricket enthusiasts.
